Dr. Carey in Iraq

Dr. Carey served in Iraq in the summer of 2008 as a volunteer as part of a team organized by the governments of United States and Iraq. His mission was to train Iraqi doctors in facial trauma surgery. His time included lectures, clinic and operating days. The team served doctors from all parts of Iraq including Baghdad, Mosul, Irbil, and the Anbar province. Dr.Carey appreciates and admires the sacrifice our soldiers and state department officials have made in the war zones and is humbled that he was asked to be a small part of it.
